Clare Rodrigues-Henderson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, is currently a Senior Psychiatric Social Worker at Hennepin County. She serves as a subject matter expert on waiver services for children, and is also a member of The Mental Health Treatment Placement Team. She has a special interest in developing strategies and implementing services that applies a racial equity and person-centered lens to the work that she does.
Clare was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and moved to Minnesota with her parents and siblings in 1995. Clare holds a B.A. in Social Work from Bethel University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She has nearly 15 years of experience as a social worker across various settings, and has spent much of her career working with children and families in Minnesota.
Clare and her husband, Charles, enjoy spending time with their three children, and especially look forward to traveling to South Africato visit family and friends as often as possible.

Alveria P Clarke is a Foster Care Licensor with the Dakota County social services. Prior to this role she worked for the North Dakota Department of Human Services as a Mental Health counselor. She also worked with Youthworks in ND where she served as the Shelter Coordinator for their runaway, homeless shelter for youths 18yrs and under. In this capacity she worked with youths and their families experiencing parent/child conflict providing family counseling, anger management and mentoring services. Alveria also volunteer with the New American Consortium for wellness and empowerment (WE center) a program that focuses on the wellness and development of new Americans in the Fargo/Moorhead areas with different programs including Education and mentoring, women empowerment, diversity training and cultural wellness. Alveria is also a small business owner with her online store Vanjah Styles where she sells handmade accessories showcasing Liberian and other African artist.

She is also an Active Licensed Graduate Social Worker with the MN Board of Social Work.

Funmi Sodunke is a second-year doctoral student in the Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) program in counseling psychology at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Along with that, Funmi is pursuing her master’s degree in counseling and psychological services at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Funmi graduated with honors with a bachelor of science degree in biomedical science from Saint Cloud State University. She is a practicum student at NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center. Funmi’s clinical experience includes providing mental health services to school age children, adolescents, traditional and non-traditional college students, and adults. Funmi has provided therapeutic services to clients with different mental health diagnoses. Through her experiences, Funmi has come to discover that her biggest passion is inspiring people to fulfill their potentials. Funmi believes that everyone, no matter the obstacle they face, can become a person of substance in life. Funmi’s professional goal is to provide culturally sensitive therapeutic services to clients with various mental healthcare needs. Funmi is a native of Nigeria and moved to the United States at age 12. Funmi enjoys serving in the teenage department as a Sunday school teacher in her local church.
Meron Demissie has over 10 years of experience in engineering and construction. Meron is currently an Engineering Manager at Sunrise Energy Ventures. Prior to Sunrise, Meron worked at Ulteig Engineering & Consulting firm. She worked on designing substation at various voltage levels for utility clients and construction firms. Prior to Ulteig, Meron worked at M.A. Mortenson in the renewable energy group working on construction sites for wind farms throughout the United States. Meron is a registered Professional Engineer in Minnesota. Meron has an MBA from Carlson school of Management, and a B.S.C in Electrical Engineering from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and a B.A in Applied Science from Concordia College.
